HELLO SADNESS : NEW ALBUM : 14TH NOVEMBER 2011

Conceived in Girona, Spain earlier this year, under the watchful eye of producer John Goodmanson, Hello Sadness is ten songs of love, loss and heartbreak nail-gunned to a back-drop of broken, tangled bodies, creeping, dead-eyed animals, suffocating, looming shadows and World Cup exits. It is an honest, bare bones documentation of breaking up and trying not to break up in the process.

    I love that Light Leaves, Dark Sees Pt. II is on the record, but the first one was a Heat Rash exclusive.

    And “Songs About Your Girlfriend” is a brilliant song name.

    A mini-essay of excitement:

    a) It looks amazing guys, really does. If I was excited about hearing new LC! stuff before, that’s only amplified now.

    b) The picture of you all is amazing too. (Think I just fell in love with Kim’s eyes, a little bit….)

    c) Vinyl – will it come with a lyric sheet? Sure I remember there being chat about Gareth handwriting lyrics, but for vinyl too?

    d) Does this mean the tour will begin in late November or wait ’til 2012?

    e) I am so looking forward to going home and pouring over RIB to see if I can spot any pre-warnings of this.

    f) Big well done for the huge amount of hype this has generated too – LC! fans are amazing.

    g) I can’t wait to see you guys live again soon!

    Heat Rash login says you have to sign in with a specific domain (i.e. Google, Yahoo, etc.). I never did that – I just signed up for Heat Rash with my e-mail. I have a receipt number but no login details. So I’m unable to get the Heat Rash discount.

    Berry – you should have received a 6 digit code which can be inserted here (http://www.loscampesinos.com/heatrash/vip/). It’ll then sync up with one of your logins. Then you can use your HR discount.

    If you haven’t got a 6 digit code, you need to email (askheatrash@gmail.com) with proof of purchase and they’ll send you one.

    I got a question. Is there a way that you could possibly make it so people can order Heat Rash again? I had been scrounging and saving to make sure I’d have enough for it and still be able to live, and then when I went to order it, alas I could not anymore. Would love your face so much if you could.

    Just preordered my copy. However, on my receipt, there is no mention of the exclusive Limited Edition DVD :( Anyone faced the same situation?

    @Cas, just preordered mine too and it only lists the vinyl, t-shirt and demos CD on my receipt.

    However, it doesn’t list the digital copy and Gareth does say above that we’ll be getting that, so I’m sure the DVD will be included!

    Every time I try to preorder the bundle it says that ‘some of the selected items are out of stock’ after I enter the specifics for the shirt. Did I miss my chance to get all the other items from the bundle as well?
